Hello All! Questions about eating! As I'm still dropping weight and having a hard time getting going on adding foods. If it was up to my colon I'd stick to the low fiber no meat diet. But that's just not ideal for nutrition. It's been 12 weeks since I had Sigmoid Colectomy + Low Anterior resection for Stage 1, I had 12 inches removed.
It's been 10 weeks since the CDiff hospital stay. That sucked!
Looking to see if anyone has had a similar situation or can just tell me this is the way it's going to be? Feels like I'm stuck in Cranky Colonville! I'm not really wanting to become a vegetarian but it's starting to lean that way. I find myself starting to just not want meat as I know consequences. 4 hours later, discomfort! Days later it can create either D or constipation, really is no in between. Fiber foods is a hit or miss but I'm finding meat is the worse. Even chicken! When I eat meat I get pain on my left side and just feel miserable. Dr says just give it more time but then in same sentence says, I shouldn't still be having these issues....Ok that's confuses me. Their answer is, do more scans. I'd love to avoid that.
