Thanks crew. Unfortunately, I think they f@&#ed things up.
I am more than 3 weeks out and still don’t have the same range of movement/ strength in right arm and to top things off, the wound has barely healed at all.
I did everything they said and normally heal pretty quickly so am very disappointed. They used internal dissolvable stitches and then closed the wound with glue. In the Centre of the wound/gash is what looks like a scab but is tinged blue (same colour as the glue). It’s movable when you touch it and it seems to be deeply wedged and possibly attached to something, perhaps the stitches.
Anyways, I’m seeing my GP tomorrow for him to check it out. Hopefully he’ll say it OK but it’s just strange given how quickly it healed when it was put in etc etc.
Other than that, have scan and bloods next week and then colonoscopy the week after so all in all an anxious couple of weeks
On a positive, it’s my little girls 4th birthday on Friday and my birthday next Wednesday woohoo
