I haven't had any issues since reducing the water. Do you ever take immodium? I was only taking once a day and stopped a few months ago. For some reason, it makes me feel more secure the whole day when I take it, but I don't want to reduce the effectiveness of the enemas. I have only been taking a couple before I go somewhere that I want to avoid any issue. I'm just wondering if taking a couple daily would be a problem. I really didn't have any issues while I was taking it but stopped to see if it made a difference. I think it's a feeling of security more mental than anything else. I don't want to cause constipation.

Before enemas... I could take 12 immodium a day and still make 20 trips to the loo. Now, I have prob taken 12 in the 4 years I have been doing this. if I have problems it would usually be at night, so I would just do another enema.

The last month i found it was taking a good hour to complete, too long before work so I have switched to evenings and I am liking it. Maybe try that?

Glad to hear things are going .better

I thought of doing that when I start my golf league in the spring. I was getting up pretty early last year to get it done so I could be out the door by 7:30. I have had to do a couple in the evening before and felt pretty good the next morning. Today was a pretty good day. I really don't need immodium I think it is just a security for me. I used to alternate lomotil and immodium every 3 hours before doing enemas and still was going to the bathroom so much. Although, once I did have some constipation which was not normal for me. Had to take a laxative and you can imagine how much fun that was. Thanks for all your help Tammy. Any issues I have with enemas is still 110% better than what I was going through before.
