So I'm getting all mushy and crying. I knew it was coming.....he showed me the ring on Christmas Day. I love his fiancee....she's a wonderful woman and she has totally stolen my son's heart (which is GOOD!!).
When I was diagnosed 11 1/2 years ago, I wanted so badly to see my youngest graduate from HS (he had just completed his freshman year) and to teach him how to drive. I also wanted desperately to see my next oldest son graduate from college. I wanted to watch my kids get married and someday hopefully be a grammy. Well, my youngest has graduated HS/college....and yes, I taught him how to drive. My oldest son got married 9 years ago and now my middle son is getting married this summer. He told me that they had talked about a date.....August 18th.....that will be my 40th wedding anniversary. Not sure she will like that but who knows??
I'm so happy. She is an absolutely darling woman.....a bright, intelligent person who loves my son and only wants for them both to be happy. Hubby and I couldn't be happier for our son.....and the best part....SHE WANTS BABIES!!!!!!!!!!
SERIOUS dieting starts tomorrow....New Year's resolutions will HAVE to be followed. I am so happy for both of them. Two down.....one more to go!!!
HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone! May 2018 bring us joy, happiness and peace. Love to you all.
