Coffee!

Postby rockhound » Sat Dec 23, 2017 10:29 am

Not that it is the end-all, be-all, but at least a potentially nice "treatment" and peer-reviewed science. Need to keep on the follow-up studies from this one to see if this ends up being valid, long-term. Short-term, gonna try to up my two cup/day habit!

I haven’t been drinking coffee post-surgery and during treatment but in the last few days have started drinking it again. So glad to read this! Coffee is my favorite beverage.

This is quite interesting.
I've been a heavy - heavy coffee drinker for quite some time.
My doctor who performed my initial colonoscopy and diagnosed me told me to stop drinking coffee due to GERD/Inflammation.
I listened and obeyed my entire time through chemo. Had decaf a couple times only - but a few weeks after chemo completion I started up the habit again.
I personally think lactose, gluten, and nightshades give me more inflammation than the coffee - as it hasn't been much of an issue for me recently.

Here's what I've been drinking today - appropriate for this community :) HA!

Many many year ago, I was told to stop drinking coffee as it causes breast cancer. Or no more than 1 cup a day (I was a BIG coffee drinker than). Few years ago, I was asked, how much coffee do I drink, about 1 1/2 cups a day. Was told to bum,p it up to 2 cups a day as they now know, coffee it suppose to help PREVENT breast cancer.

I have always felt coffee was good for you,
