I wanted to chime in too. Last CT scan, his report indicated several nodes and nodules that previous reports did not show. Onc says they were there but they were never reported (which kind of irks me). So, I got scared and went to his last appointment. Onc says they have been there since diagnosis and have not grown. He said they would have doubled if they were cancer. As my signature indicates, he has a lymph node that is 1.3 cm in addition to 3 lung nodules. We are just following up annually per usual. His CEA was 1.4 after surgery and is less than 0.5 now. I just hate it that they didn't put the lung nodules in the report in 2015 or the lymph nodes in 2016. Doc says that is because they are insignificant.

I have four nodules that were on my first scan 9 years ago. Every radiologist has listed them a different size. Some measure both sides and some give an average. I was told sizes can vary depending on how deep the breath was or how you’re laying on the table. 3mm is extremely small.

I am having surgery tomorrow for my lung nodule. i am nervous and going to sleep now.will update after i come home. Thanks everyone for support.

My surgery was easy one but I am feeling weak and nauseated after that. so I am sleeping a lot. I did not get my path report yet which is making me anxious. Its very hard to wait for path report. its been already 7 days and did not hear back from them. I called them today and then they told me they will get back to me once they will have result and I will see post op surgeon visit. Not sure why they are taking so long.

How is it going with the recovery?
