CT scan update

Postby Shana » Tue Dec 12, 2017 1:24 am

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I've been a bit low key the past month prior to getting my CT scan and CEA. Today is the one year anniversary of my diagnosis and I can confidently say that I haven't felt this well in a long time. I am thankful to share that my scan showed continued shrinkage of liver mets so my chemo cocktail is working. The best news is that my outrageously high CEA which was greater than 1650 in August has dropped to 38.7! That's the lowest number since I was first tested a year ago when it was over 6000!

Wishing everyone positive news as we enter the New Year and hoping that there is a magic potion out there waiting to be discovered to help cure this disease.

Sending hugs and love to all!

Shana
