Mymom- clean scan

Postby mymom » Sun Dec 10, 2017 11:04 pm

Hi all. I hope you were all blessed with a wonderful thankssgiving. Mom had another scan two days before turkey day and it continues to be clean. I thought I posted the results and realized I had not. October 2015 she had an ablation of a liver met and has been clean since. This is her longest remission. Since being diagnosed at stage 4 in may 2011 She has had two liver resections- many rounds of chemo, HAI pump and a few liver ablations - oh and a few reoccurrences. But it all got her to this point. We are enjoying our holiday season. She enjoys life. Yesterday my parents and my husband and kids spent a snowy day in NYC at Macy’s Santa, a ninja restaurant and the Xmas tree. Great day. I am thankful for all the time I get with her- she’s my best friend. I stop by here and there when possible to check in. I think of you all.
