DH to 38 wife w/kids
Stage 3C DX 3/3/17 CEA 29
5-fu and radiation ended May 17, 17
Stage 4 Liver mets 3(5mm-6mm) and iliac node July 17, 17
FOLFOX + Avistan July 18 CEA 2.3

Yes congrats!! Wish my mom was NED but she is Near No Evidence of Disease!! I wish you well wishes going forward, Merry X-mas!! :D

Neoadjuvant start 7/10/17 ended 08/16/17
3D Lap. surgery @ Keck USC, Dr. Sang Lee 10/17/17 temp ileostomy
11/1 back @ hospital due 2 abscess/hernia - back home 11/06/17 antibiotics
NO LYMPHS INVOLVED! NEAR PATHOLOGICAL RESPONSE! YAY! :shock:
No Cancer!! YAY!

You've had some pretty rough months, with your divorce and all. So happy that you are getting some good news.

3/29/17 diagnosed CRC - 44 y/o Male
4/17/17 ULAR - Straight anastomosis - no ostomy.
Path: low grade T3n1m0 - moderate diff.
KRAS - NO, MLH1/PMS2/MSH6/MSH2 - Normal.
5/3 med port install
5/22 folfox - first treatment.
3rd treat, delayed - low ANC - reduced to 90% OXI
Granix given, Now Zarxio treatments every session.
Treatment 7 reduced to 75% OXI
Treatment 8-12 - NO OXI, just Luke and 5FU
Current - 12 treatments done, CBC good, CEA decreasing.
10/20/17 CT-SCAN - CLEAR! - NED

CEA & CA19-9: 5/18 2.5 78 8/17 1.4 48 2/14/17 1.8 29
4 Folfox 6/15-7/30 (b4 liver surgery) 8 after
CT: 8/8 no change 3/27/17 NED for now :D
:!: Steroid induced hyperglycemia dx after 3chemo .. hospitalized, insulin -> Metformin
Surgeries (open):
3/18 Emergency colostomy 5/23 Primary+gallbl+colostomy reversal (+port) 9/01 Liver mets

MSS - KRAS wild
Stage IV CC with liver mets
5FU - Failed twice - 1/17 and 3/17
Irinotecan + Cetuximab: 8/17 - 2 wks on, 1 wk off to lessen side effects
CEA 12/17 - 37.8! CEA 1/17 - 33!
CT-Scan 9/1/17. Shrinkage of liver mets (4 measurable) and no bowel blockage
CT=Scan 12/1/17 Shrinkage of liver mets continue, no blockage

Removal of primary tumor and resection still on back burner. Have to be able to be OFF chemo one month prior and one month after surgery and evaluate benefit vs risk.
