Very sad. My thanks to Tom for the hope and knowledge he shared so kindly. May God bring healing and peace to his family.

I am so incredibly sad about Tom's passing. May he rest in peace. I hope that his family can take a little comfort in knowing what a difference he made in so many lives.

Truly heartbroken to hear this. Some combination of denial and Tom's unrelenting positivity had convinced me that his recent challenges were a temporary setback. What a terrible loss for the CRC community and especially for his young family. :(

A truly sad thing to see. He was a truly great man. He definitely went too soon, as all the good ones do.

My condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace Tom.

You will be greatly missed by many.

Miss Molly wrote so good about certain people on this earth when she described Tom Marsilje. Why could he not have been saved? :cry: He did so much good for so many people!!! Forgive me if I use wrong words, English is my 2nd language. I am just so sad hearing this :(
but also thankful for all he did and all that he fighted for that all of us (or caretakers to us) will benefit from.
I will miss this Hero very much !!!!!

Sadness beyond words to read of Tom's passing. So many have benefited from his knowledge, his example of perseverance, and the generosity with which he shared all he discovered. He was and shall always be a light in the darkness. RIP Tom

N.E.D until June 2018

Biopsy confirms cancer in 3 Paraaortic lymph nodes
Folfiri + Avastin (6tx) and Xeloda during radiation
Cancer all over both lungs dx Jan 2019
FOLFIRI +AVASTIN presently

Most of Toms posts were over my head , it's probably why I never conversed with him. I wish now that I had. That is cancers signature ,we never get a second chance, hugs to his family. Ron.
