Maybe a little weekend getaway road trip would be better.....save the big trip until post chemo....my hubby is 7 rounds into Folfox and he just disconnected today....we hopped into the car and headed to VT! It's so good for his mind and spirits to get out of dodge for a few nights and just enjoy some time away from "reality," whatever that is....

Sounds like a good plan! Hope you enjoy yourselves.
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?
