The Colon Club

So the results of my husband's scans came back this morning and we are grateful to God and humbled to share that he remains cancer free nearly 3 years out. I share to offer hope to those in the trenches, especially to the spouses seeking answers on this site. Cancer, however, remains an uninvited and unwelcome presence in our family. My DH brother, age 43, died from lung cancer Sun night after battling the disease for nearly 1 year . He was surrounded by his family and 3 young daughters, aged 11,9,5. Today is the 1 year anniversary of their father's death.

Congratulations to you and your husband. That is awesome news. So sorry for the loss of your brother in law. Cancer is just so nasty. Here's to your husband staying cancer free from here on out.
