Enema equipment

Postby susie0915 » Mon Nov 06, 2017 10:34 am

I was wondering what type of enema equipment enemas users on this forum use? I've been doing daily enemas since February. I use a clear 2 qt enema bag with the small nozzle. It has worked pretty well. I have noticed some use a rubber catheter. My question is in the long term is it safer or easier on our bottoms that have been damaged by radiation? Does it attach to any hose or is there a certain bag and/or hose needed? I have been very happy doing enemas it has saved me, but just wonder if there is anything that can make the whole process better in the long run.

I dont use anything exciting....typical red bag...or Big Red as I call her  with the 4 ft tubing that comes with it. I Buy it at Walmart for 9.99. replace it about every 6 months, makes me feel better. I always have a spare in the closet. Big Red is my life line...having a new one in the closet in case something goes wrong is just another piece in the stressfree awesome quality of life I now have. Oh...and I use coconut oil for my lube,,,,good for the delicate skin in the delicate area it goes into

I use the rubber catheters as I’ve a chronic fissure which is what pushed me to finally take control with enemas. I’m 18 months out from reversal and have tried everything. Such a relief and should have done it sooner. Here is a link: http://www.midwesthealthandnutritioninc ... kit-1.html

I have a back up in my closet also. Coconut oil is something I may try. I've just be using aquaphor, but I think the oil will be better. Thanks.
