VATs recovery and mucus
Posted: Mon Nov 06, 2017 6:01 am
I had a VATs procedure on August 22nd and have recovered well. They removed the right upper lobe of my lung. I had very little pain and managed to leave the hospital with only tylenol for pain relief.
My one concern is that my breathing does not seem to be improving as fast as I think it should. I have very noisy breathing and seem to produce a lot of mucus. So far, they have just said that my exercise induced asthma may now be regular asthma. I am using a ventolin inhaler but don't seem to be improving.
Any suggestions? Similar experiences?
