Pulsing anus after eating sugar

Postby rodgerredhat » Sun Nov 05, 2017 6:57 am

Not a forum topic I ever imagined posting.

Like the subject says, I get a very painful anus (bottom hole!) if I eat sugar. The pain takes half a day to a day to appear.

I have bowel cancer and currently having radio and chemo.

My cancer is quite close to my anus, approx 5cm.

Anyone else heard/experienced this?

I probably don't need to say it because I am in good company here, but it's driving me mad. I gave up sugar several months ago and got a by too confident and tried sugar again :-(

Hope to hear from you, good luck to everyone x

Hi and welcome,

Never heard of sugar causing the pain you describe. I'm wondering if you are allergic to sugar. Are you receiving radiation? Sometimes that can make that area SUPER sensitive.

Good luck

Just stop eating sugar.
Sugar is not an essential nutrient.
