OMG ... I have found another homie with an equally warped sense of "humor?"
AND likes me verses :!: :!: :!:
My work here is done : I have corrupted yet another CTalker !!!!

seriously :
Glad you like the verses. They just come to me and part of my own healing is " I need to share " ...
the deeper personal stuff and the humor.
Gladder still .... you are racking up milestones and "versaries" !

mariane wrote:2 years ago my MSKCC oncologist came to me with my pathology report and told me that my cancer was dead (I had 10+ liver tumors). My CEA went down below 2 in October 2015 from 140 in mid August that year at the beginning of chemotherapy.
I achieved NED in May 2016 and yesterday I got another clear scan. My CEA yesterday was 1.1 at MSKCC. My liver tests went completely back to norm ( most of them low norm). My recent LDH is 140.
I can fully live my life. I travel, hike, jog, do pilates, play tennis and other sports with my energetic kids. A year ago I came back to college and I am still surprised that I can learn something after so much chemo. I enjoy gardening and coffee with my friends. I see how my kids grow.
I want to write that it is worth to do treatment. I outlived my 2 expiration dates. My first oncologists and radiologist denied I could ever get to NED. I am clear.
There is hope!

You're an inspiration, Mariane. Thanks for sharing the positivity. You are living proof that it can happen.
Smiles, hugs and prayers,
Tracy
