Finally got scan results. No evidence of metastatic disease in the abdomen or pelvis. Hopefully, repeat chest scan in January will show the same.
Thubler and Benben hoping your results are positive as well.

Thank you Susie. I'm so glad to hear everyone getting good results from scans. :D
Tomorrow is my scan day at 3pm. Last time I was scanned which was early April, I got instant feedback from the guy doing the scan.
I know it's not substantiated until you get the final readings, but the tech who did my scan was pretty spot on with the reports.
There, obviously was no mets at that time in the scan. He told me about having a small secondary spleen and an extra drain off the left ventricle of the heart.
Guess they go along with my extra vertebra in lower lumbar region.

Tomorrow is a big day for me, hopefully I'll get the same tech and get at least some sort of hint as to what he sees.

If I'm NED I'll be so, so, so happy :)

best wishes.

Finally got my results and everything is clear! Still have enlarged lymph node but its stable and same size. Also have some lung nodules that may have been a couple mm larger but still labeled as calcified granulomata (my lungs are scarred and damaged from being a severe juvenile asthmatic that I outgrew 25 yrs ago. No news of port extraction but I will breach that topic another day. Just going to chew on this good news for a bit. Thanks for all the encouragement its much appreciated. God is good!

Yes I'm glad everyone is getting NED results on scans :)

I did get my scan 3pm today. Unfortunately the tech was not the same - in fact I was sent to a different imaging center.
Last time was done in the hospital, probably by a radiologist who was training a tech. Tech said "I just take pictures, I don't read them".
Said a radiologist would probably look at them within an hour and may post results tonight - so far I have not seen anything on my portal.
So may be playing waiting game for them until Monday at this point. Other than that I've been busy with toilets as the contrast gave me
diarrhea big time. Counted 16 trips since I got home. In between took my son to store to buy a tie for homecoming, and went out for pho.
Geesh, I normally have progressive loose stools this time of the chemo cycles - but this is ridiculous. I guess it can last for 24 hours - joy :)

Hope I can share some positive results on the scans soon :)
thanks for positive vibes :)

BTW how you doing Tdubz post treatment? - feeling better I'm sure.
