O/T my cancer support doggy

Postby Bev G » Sat Oct 14, 2017 6:19 pm

My beloved pup Luc passed away Thursday night. He was an awesome, sweet loving dog. He never left my side during the five years of the worst of the cancer. I loved him very much. Life will be a lot harder without him. I am astonished by the load of grief we accumulate in our lives. Thank you, CR, for the information and support you so kindly provided me.

Wishing peace and comfort to every one.

I am so sorry for your loss. They are members of the family. My dog is 12 1/2 and I can really tell in this past year she is getting older. Sometimes when the door bells rings and she asleep, she does not hear it. Or she thinks she sees a stray cat in the backyard, butt it's actually just a solar light.

We also have a 17 yr old cat. He can no longer jump on the counter. That is where we keep the cat food because of the dog. He meows when he want up or just eats the dog food.

(((Bev))) again so sorry for your loss.

Bev:
I am genuinely saddened to hear of your loss of Luc. Our companion pets are true gifts and full family members. They leave indelible paw prints on our hearts.

I have a 14 yr old tea cup Maltese, Molly, who is my constant companion. She is the light of my life.

Keep your memories of Luc close to your heart and remember him with the love that was your unique bond,

Oh so sorry Bev.
It always hard to loose a family member. I think dogs have a special healing power. I'm not sure how I would of made it threw treatments without my pup.
When the pain lessons you should consider fostering a pup in need.

I am so sorry for your loss. My dog Baxter always laid with me when I was fatigued from chemo. Such a soothing presence for me. I got a puppy last October and he is such a love. Was a distraction from focusing on all I was going through post treatment with side effects from surgery and chemo. Our pets are part of our fAmily and can be therapeutic in our healing. Prayers and hugs

Bev - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Is this the same dog that kept hiding in the crates when you were about to move from PA to VT?
