I am going in for my two year check up. I was diagnosed with lynch last year after having tumor removed with colon surgery. I am so bloated and the suprep is nasty. I know it is for my health, but I wish they could come up with a better way for us to get cleansed. Gotta go I feel my bowels starting to loosen!

I did suprep for my last colonoscopy and it is nasty. Made me sick to my stomach. Better than the go lightly because not as much to drink. Next time I'll ask if I can do miralax/Gatorade mixture. Good luck with your cleanse.

I had Suprep for my colonoscopy in February. It tastes like salty Dimetapp to me. The first cup of it went down better than the second, because by the second I knew what it tasted like and my mouth was desperately trying to avoid it. I chugged it, chugged the prep cup full of water, then sipped Gatorade.

Ick! I just did the same last week...Suprep and lemonade...the worst combo ever. It was sour, salty, chemical tasting, and medicinal all at the same time. So gross.

Good luck on the prep.

It’s 3:30 in the morning I’m tired as hell, my asshole is on fire and I’m bloated and making more noise out of my rear end than a marching band!! This sucks. Hoping for a clean colon so I can skip a couple of years . Thanks for all the luck everyone.

That prep is not fun after a rectal resection. I remember being exhausted. I work an adult diaper to the colonoscopy did not want to risk it. I remember sitting on the toilet for so long. Test will be done today, you will be cleaned out and can eat whatever. Good Luck.

I have to do the prep for surgery so I'll be joining you and I'm sure that I'll have to do many more of them in the future.

Well I am back at home and they found a 15mm poylop. They removed it and I’m waiting on biopsy. I feel sick and wAnt to cry. I had 5 small poylops last year and now this. I hate lynch and colon cancer. I am praying it comes back benign. It looks like healthy tissue and nothing like my cancerous lesion 2 years ago. This all developed in 1 year! I am so depressed right now.

I'm sorry. I'm going to be positive and think it's benign. Yes that lynch syndrome sucks. Sending positive vibes your way.

This is the reason you need to have a colonoscopy every year - to check and remove any polyps. With Lynch, polyps generally grow quicker, and so the risk for colon cancer increases, hence the need for yearly colonoscopies. It is more than likely benign. Try not to stress while waiting for your results. You could consider surgery to remove your colon. Maybe this is something you could look into. Hang in there. Sending positive vibes your way. Best wishes x

Hope it is benign. That is the problem with lynch. My best wishes.

Thanks, I am having a colonoscopy every year. They mentioned the possibility of having a total colon removal in the future.

The polyp is 15mm and it grew in one year. It doesn’t look cancerous on the picture. It looks like healthy pink tissue.
Doctor and nurse don’t think it is , but want to see biopsy results. They want to do another colonoscopy in 3 months . I am not sure if a polyp can turn cancerous in 9 or 10 months? Anyone have thoughts?

I could be wrong, butt I don't think so. I know you have Lynch, thus polyps can grow faster, butt I believe it still take 2-3 yrs for a Lynch person to develop cancer from a polyp.

For the general population, about 10 yrs for a polyp to turn cancerous.

Sometime, especially those flat one, fold in the colon, not a complete clean out, some polyps do get missed. I know, not something you wanted to read.

Good luck, hopefully it is nothing serious, butt boy do I understand your fear.
