I know all of you have been anxiously waiting for an update on Beans (as have I), and now I'm glad to give one. Below is the information as it was given to me by a family member.
"She had two surgeries. 9 hours the first, 5 the next. Apparently they needed to go back in and repair her bile ducts. She is sedated and on a respirator in icu, running a temp and a bit jaundiced, but she made it through the surgeries and the docs say this is to be expected. They are thinking of bringing her out of sedation once the fever breaks. They removed the right side of her liver and biopsies showed the tumor was dead, and they are cautiously saying cure if she makes it through recovery. We're hopeful she's going to be just fine."
I will continue to post any new info as I receive it.
Smiles, hugs and prayers, Tracy (aka WriterGirl)

Prayers and healing thoughts to Beansmama. I so hope she recovers as expected, and this does not darken her doorway again.

Sounds like a rough road with 14 hours of combined surgery. Hoping everything goes as planned and she is taken out of sedation, happy to know she's still here and receives a "NED" diagnosis. And Metta towards Bean as well. Lord knows what sort of thoughts may transpire while her MAMA goes through this process.
best wishes.
