I've been so anxious and checking very often throughout every day. Wonderful news!!!!!!!!

Edit to add: continued prayers for a complete and 'cured' recovery!

I know what you mean - I had gotten so nervous that when I finally saw my messenger icon lit up, I was actually afraid to read it. I was so relieved to hear she was past surgery. I know she's not completely out of the woods yet, and I'll feel even better once the fever is gone and they can bring her out of sedation, but I was glad to hear the doctors told them this was to be expected, and that she's doing good. I'll pass along any additional news as soon as I get it. :)

I will definitely do that. :)
And you're very welcome. I was really glad to get to pass on some good news about how she's doing. Still guarded, of course, but overall they are feeling very positive, which is great. Hopefully this will mean the cure she has fought for.

***UPDATE ON BEANSMAMA - Monday 10/9/17 at 12:15PM Eastern Time***

They've removed the breathing tube, and our BeansMama woke up feisty. :) This is good. She's fighting. I'm told she woke up "swearing up a storm and asking for A&W Root Beer." :D

The doctors are saying she's not out of the woods yet. They want to see her liver normalize over this next week. If she can get over that hurdle, things will be looking really good. So let's keep those prayers and love going in her direction that her body will continue to heal as she needs.

I've passed on all of the love and well-wishes that you all have sent, and her sister has thanked us profusely for all of the support and love. She notes that she will forward the thread to her mom, who will read it to beansmama so she knows we're all thinking of her and routing for her.

As always, I'll provide more updates as I receive them.

Hugs,
Tracy

Thank You So Much Tracy for giving us news! I have thought about BeansMama constantly these days, been worried , almost afraid to check in and look :| (maybe worried because I had some bad news yesterday about a friend son in law just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer  )
This good news about BeansMama makes me so Happy!!! I have so much faith in her fighting spirit :) - she has a track record of fighting!!! - but I did not know the fighting spirit of her surgeons... I just wishes they were The Best :!:
