Thetoad wrote:Hi. I had an extended right hemicolectomy almost four years ago and my gallbladder was removed about five months ago. My bowel movements are usually ok first thing then much looser an hour or two later. Which is normal for me I'm told! But I've noticed a sort of griping discomfort during the day and wonder if it's because the bile is now fed straight into the bowel and is irritating things. There are diverticular pockets so they may be annoyed. My diet is anything but I am hoping to see a dietician soon for advice. I was told I could eat anything I liked. I am due to see my Dr in two weeks. And my three year surveillance colonoscopy is due now but may not be until January. All blood tests, the yearly colonoscopy and 18 month CT scan were ok. Thanks for any input.
