need help i have stage 4 colon cancer with stomach i have so much worry my cea number is at 7 can i go into remission with this

What were your symptoms of colon cancer prior to being diagnosed?

Yes there are many people on this forum who have beat a stage IV diagnoses. Sometimes it's finding the right Dr who will treat you aggressively or the right hospital.

I would highly recommend a 2nd opinion at a Major Cancer Treatment Center. Where are you?

Please provide us with info on you. How old are you? Do you have colon or rectal cancer. CEA at 7 is low, butt sometimes, CEA is not a marker for some people. What type of follow up tests have you had? PET, CAT scan or maybe an MRI, etc. Do you know if you are a stage IVa or a stage IVb? Do you have the pathology report?

This is not the death sentence that many people think it is. I am a 13 year survivor. There are new treatments out that are changing the landscape on cancer.

You may want to look into HIPEC. I can be an effective treatment for folks with stomach mets, and it seems to be reasonably widely available.
