Where did all the 'guests' go?

Postby JJH » Thu Sep 21, 2017 3:17 am

Usually when I log in and look at WHO IS ONLINE, I see from 50 to 100 users accessing the Forum. However, the other day I had a big surprise. When I came here to the Forum, all I found was this:

What does this mean? Where did all the 'guests' go? And what about the BOTs that always seem to be ever-present here? I've never seen this happen before.

Was that this past weekend? Once or twice when I tried to check in, I would get an error message basically saying site could not be found. I just assumed it was busy. Maybe there is a connection.

Correct.
The sessions database needed to be repaired so there would be times where the site itself was not accessible,
times when viewable but unable to login so the who is online metrics would not update until repairs were complete.

I kept getting repeating email messages on a particular thread topic even though there were no updates. I've been away for a bit dealing with a lot of things that weren't done while I was in treatment and so haven't been here as much.
