I read your note to me several times and I am so thrilled that you finally have a surgery date! I am praying for you and will place you in our wider prayer circle as well. I know that you are "cowgirl tough" and can beat Larry and anything he throws at you. I do have a pair of spurs you can wear to surgery if you like.

Love that you take time to write those 'special letters' 'just in case.' I've started mine too. Do you hand write them? I am typing them up so I can edit them, and then I am going to use futureme.org to send them via email at selected times. My most important letters will be be written.
Hugs, and here's to you! Love your positive outlook!

Beans is hanging in there. I was prepared to press for the surgery if they wanted to delay it again because all of the delays were contributing to her anxiety. She actually is a bit better knowing it is happening. I have been spending every minute I can with her making special memories just in case.
That reminds me I need to finish up the letters to her for those special days in the future just in case.
Eh, he is being his usual self. I have a very good friend who has stepped in and has been a huge support to me. Originally he had a trip planned for that week and was still going to go. I don't know who chastised him out of it but now he says he will be here for Bean thankfully.
Yes you can write those special letters to your daughter, butt know that you will give them to her personally as she grows up.
I think of that movie, Apollo 13, when they had to abort the mission and just try and get back to Earth. There is one scene, Gene Krantz, I believe is the character's name. He is talking to a group of people to come up with a solution to get the space craft back to Earth. One of the best scene as he says "Failure Is Not an Option".
You will make it through this surgery. If for no other reason than to give your ex a hard time.
