MD Anderson is taking patients, and has recruited 150 extra personnel to help catch up on treatments. That is the latest I have heard as of right now, 4PM in Houston .9/4/2017.

But it us coming for my state. I'm on the east coast and it could be very bad for people even for locals getting chemo like me.
The worst of it should be done by the time I need to go again in two weeks.

My understanding the basic stuff (5FU) will stay in your body for about 7-8 weeks. I believe you will be okay, sometimes there has been delays for many people for many different reasons and everything turned out fine.

We are putting up hurricane shutters now. Some models are indicating that it will exit Florida right over where we live.
