Relief!

Postby JennPixie » Sun Sep 03, 2017 8:32 am

Went and got the results from my last PET scan, and was told
"There is no sign of any disease on your scan..."

I was so excited and happy, I could have danced a jig on the spot!
Even better, I called my mom to tell her, and I could practically feel the tension pouring out of her!
Like she had been holding her breath, waiting, and she could finally breathe again.
The sound of her voice nearly made me cry... she sounded even more delighted and relieved than me, LOL!

It was a good day 8)

Aww, thanks :)
Now I can get the ball rolling on reversal, and settle into my scan-every-3-months schedule.

Sometimes it's surprising how much tension and anxiety you don't even realize you're holding on to, until you get a good report. I felt so much lighter when I got that result.

Ah, not just yet! The surgeon that did my first surgery wasn't available while we were there, so we're gonna try calling Tuesday or Wednesday, to see when we can get all that going.
We want to see if we can get her again because she did amazing work on me, and (though I don't remember meeting her) she was also really nice to my MIL and my husband.
