Hi all. I hope you were all blessed with a wonderful summer. Mom had another scan and it continues to be clean. October 2015 she had an ablation of a liver met and has been clean since. This is her longest remission. Since being diagnosed at stage 4 in may 2011 She has had two liver resections- many rounds of chemo, HAI pump and a few liver ablations - oh and a few reoccurrences. But it all got her to this point. She will turn 71 on sept 6. She is my role model. We went to Atlantis in the Bahamas and she doesn't swim. That said she went down a tube slide that floats through a shark tank and a rapid river ride wearing a life vest screaming her head off. I may have lied just a bit and told her it wasn't as rough as it was. Oops. I think of you all. She's living life. Hope is always important.

Unluckily my mum has multiple lung mets that are not operational. We are still digesting this difficult news and I rely hope surgery can be used to clear her mets.

2017-09: 85% FOLFOX + Avastin, stable CT
2018-03 to 05: Folfox Allergy, Folfiri (with Avastin since Oct)
2019: CEA:178, started Irinotecan+Zaltrip+TS-1, 25 times radio with xeloda
2020: CEA up, Stivarga for 6 months
2021: CEA up, 7L O2 and 24-hour morphine, on pc care
At peace 2021.4.14

mariane- she continue to scan every three months. Her next scan is November. I guess every three months until we are told otherwise by the doctor.
