That's for sure. Others don't realize it's not over because we've finished treatment and may be cancer free at the time. Any little twinge, change in bloodwork, or unfamiliar wording on a scan result can make us feel stressed even though we try not to show it as to make others feel uncomfortable. All this, plus dealing with the lasting effects of treatment. It will be with us for the rest of our lives, even though we are thankful for responding to treatment it isn't always easy. But is helps to be here to express our worries and feelings to others that understand. Thank you.
