I've been taking 10,000 IU a day for 2 years. I feel great and have had no problems from it. It's hard to know if it really helps, but it makes me more optimistic.

We both take d3 5000 iu a day and live in Ontario with periods of the year with very little chance to get sunlight naturally. No issues for either of us.

I've been taking Vit. D3 for 8 years 8 months now. It takes a daily dosage of 6,000 IU's to keep me near the upper normal level of 100. My readings range from 87 to 105.

I became friends with Dr. Cedric Garland, Youtube fame, researcher on Vitamin D3 and he had told me of trials and the suggested change of 100 as the upper norm before Labcorp changed their paperwork.

I've had no problems taking this amount all these years.

It looks like I will need to up my dosage, say to 2,000 iu the next time I buy this stuff. My 500 is looking pretty paltry here and I'm in a part of the country that lacks sunshine. I'm partially making up for it by eating more fish.

My onc said to take between 1,000-2,000 per day: so, I take 2000 every morning.
