Thunderbolt is a high-speed Intel Bus Protocol that's used by Apple and only a few other companies like Sony. It provides PCI-E speeds. It's been obsoleted mostly by USB-C though Thunderbolt 3, uses a compatible port.

I am having my friend take care of my Apple stuff. He is truly the most smartest and patient person I know. I love learning about Tech stuff. !!
I'd rather type and learn then watch t.v. -:-)
