Colon cancer treatment protocols 2017

Postby JJH » Mon Aug 14, 2017 9:42 am

The document below gives a good overview of the available treatment protocols for colon cancer along with specifications for recommended dose levels, length of treatment, and other details.

You can use this document to find your current treatment protocol and then compare it with other protocols that are in the same category.

Thank you so much for posting this. There are some interesting and significant differences between the options here compared with the NCCN guidelines. I am particularly interested in the DeGramont regimen and Roswell Park regimen. I notice that there are no citations for those treatments so I am going to do some googling on those.

Thanks again!

This reminds me of a question I had in the back of my mind for sometime.
What dosage of OXI is everyone receiving. According to that doc 85 mg is the norm?

My cancer center started me at 160mg of OXI.
I was reduced at treatment 3 to 145mg - but this is way above the 85mg in the document.
I'm only 160 lbs at 5'10.

EDIT:
Ahh never mind, figured out the m2 portion of the equation. I' guess i'm actually slightly under dosed.
