Really good question. I don't have an answer to the piece about the study but I do know there were a number of people here doing the protocol. Pretty sure several of them are still on it. Check out the profiles for Sophy and DBF, both of whom are Stage IV and longer-term NED. I think Betsydoglover did it as well (but has now finished?). I've been taking the Celebrex part but not the Xeloda (any more).
Bottom line--I've been on this board several years and from what I've seen, a significant percentage of patients do very, very well on this protocol. I wouldn't let the lack of recent information deter you from pursuing it as an option. Hopefully someone else will chime in with more info. You might try PM'ing Maia. If anyone here knows, she probably would.
