Yes - please find a GI doctor to take a serious look at this issue. Primarily this is what did my wife in. She ended up with a blockage likely due to tumor growth in we believe two places. They eventually tried a colostomy which helped a little and enabled the main blockage that had formed to break up some. However, after this surgery they could not rule out a second blockage because she was throwing up bile in great quantities and not much movement into her ostomy bag. They then put in a stomach tube so we could pump out the excess bile so she wouldn't bloat and throw up all the time. Eventually she starved and became dehydrated, as there was little ability for her to absorb nutrition or water at this point. She came home to hospice (my care) to attempt to keep her comfortable and lingered for an additional 10 days before passing away early June. Blockages are very serious. When was the last time you had a CT scan with contrast? Any sign at all this could have anything to do with a tumor or stricture of some sort?
Good luck and try and get this taken care of sooner rather than later. My wife kept saying she was fine just felt full all the time. When she finally started throwing up I guess it was too late. Damn she was a stubborn woman sometimes!
