BrownBagger ....... I don't know what to say

When someone says they have no words to describe how they feel .. and then go on to do so anyway

When someone says they are gutted by an experience and just need to share their energy with their friends

When someone who has been in and out of someone else’s life, and they yours, finds that their friend is suddenly gone

When we here, deal with life and death daily, and having experienced it personally never expect to have to share the passing of a friend we shared the other losses with

When we’ve been here for years and despite the changes, never expect to say goodbye to a best friend

When you have read all of this, you will know only a fraction of what I feel right now

Eric, BrownBagger …….has passed

I’ll be back tomorrow to post his In Memoriam
HERE

right now this is all I have to give

Oh no CR Guy.....my heart literally dropped when I read this

It was not what I was expecting to read. Eric has always been a favourite around here....a wonderful human being. I can't believe that he's gone. I didn't even know that he wasn't doing too good. I guess I had kind of expected and hoped that he was going to be here for longer....a lot longer

My deepest sympathies to all his loved ones on the sad loss of dear Eric.

It will not be the same without him here.

I will miss you and will never forget you....you are loved ❤️

Gutted to hear this news. I'm so sorry - to all those who knew Eric better than I did. He had a great presence about him.

Noooooo.....this hit me in a way like no other. He was my first friend on here and my favorite. We were on the journey together. He always was kind, intelligent and funny. The world will never be the same.

I wish I knew he was struggling at the end. I had no idea.

So sad today.

I am sorry to hear this especially to many here who were so close to him. Like many here BB was one of the first to welcome me to this group & I sensed a genuine warmth. Rest in peace...

BrownBagger....lover of family, chopping wood, bountiful gardens, and good wine. You were one of the first to welcome me here, and I'm glad I was able to work with you over the years in your moderating duties.

To call this type of SUCKNITUDE "major" doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. Peace be with you...and with those who loved you.

BrownBagger was a living tribute of how to live life to the fullest regardless of the diagnosis. He was one of the first people to respond to my very first post here 5 years ago. I too am shocked by this sad news. I wish his family peace during a difficult time. Eric you are missed.

I don't post often but I've been around here since 2011. This took my breath away. I am heartbroken. Rest in peace Eric. You will be missed by so many.
