I ordered a Keiser M3i today. I've been thinking about it since last year I think. If I had ordered it back then, I would have had all of those miles in my basement to get through. I don't know how long the Stay-at-Home order will last but the combination of April Showers Bring May Flowers, gyms being closed, etc., has me wanting to be able to work out anytime I feel like it and a bike is the easiest way to go. I would really love a treadmill but a club-quality costs about $5K, they make a lot of noise and it would take up a lot of room. I got the Keiser M3i specifically because it's the quietest spinning bike out there so I can watch videos without having to use a headset.
I'm planning on dropping the Planet Fitness membership if this thing goes through May as I don't care to pay for a gym I'm not using. Yes, they are offering online workouts, but I'm a member, mostly because they have a network of bathrooms. And I like to workout there too.
I hope everyone is getting some exercise. I know that it's really hard if you're in the city.
I'd also like to get a Universal Bar instead of my regular bar but I've heard that everyone is buying barbells and dumbbells to workout at home with. My equipment works for me now so something to think about for the future.
