Hi,
A few years ago there was a lot of discussion about patients going to Germany to have laser treatment by Dr. Rolle or UK Dr. Ladas. Wonder if anyone has pursued either of these options lately? My husband has a lung met that did not respond to radiation.

Some people here have had that surgery in Germany and the UK, butt off hand I can not remember who. They may or may not be checking in to this forum now.

Have you considered Immune therapy as a possibility? Maia and DK37 have put trial finder together to help people find a trial that works best for them.

Good luck,

Lee

Hi, Angela. Several fellows had laser assisted lung surgery in Germany/ UK. Carm, Mastan, that I remember right now... it bought them some time but sadly they had recurrences. Happily, our mate Sophy had it done also, and she's following with experimental ADAPT protocol to prevent recurrence. She is NED at the present, 3 years after lung surgery. BTW, NCT03085914 at Penn is recruiting. Great immuno-immuno-chemo trial!!
