When is your appointment, and when are you going to start on the prep? It's very important to have a good clean-out.

My appt has been delayed due to me requesting to be "put out" (Propifol)
They said that dont' need to be put out but still unsure. I have read some scary stories about being put out. I hear the twilight sleep isn't that bad so I may just go that route
I just received my entire prep for colonscopy which includes this HUGE jug.. Colyte with Flavor pakcs.. 240 ml 8 oucnes every 10 in until 4 liters are consumed the night before the procedure. I had no idea there were so many different types of preps.. holy moses.. this is nuts.
Just a note in that I got the bill for the second colonoscopy and it was higher than I expected by a few hundred dollars. I suspect that my insurance doesn't cover Propfil or only covers it partially. The other people where I work usually are awake during the procedure so cost might be a factor in whether or not you are under for it. My personal preference is to be under though I don't have a point of reference for personal comparison. I guess that it's a decision that I'll have to make for future colonoscopies.

Yes, I understand that Propifol is more expensive and I am okay with that. 9 more days and here I go!! This is a little nerve racking and now I know why people opt out of this.

I hate going through colonoscopies but it does give peace of mind when they're over that you've been checked out.

I have edited the topic post title to reflect this :
because this forum is a highly searched forum and someone searching for the information would likely NOT find it with the misspelling.
