I'm still battling this sinus infection after being on Augmentin for 14 days. Now I am going to be on two heavy antibiotics for 14 days. My yearly ct scan requisition form is going to be sent to the hospital. My GI surgeon wrote in 2015 that because my ct scan was clear the first year that scanning the chest is no longer necessary. I was a little surprised. I read on the Canadian Cancer Association website that people with stage 2 don't usually have ct scans following surgery which is even stranger.

With no history to go by, if you had PET scans, and there was a problem, it should be taken care of. If there was no uptake in your chest, congestion should be monitored, but not overly considered a migration . It should be your decision .

PET scans aren't available here so I've never had one.
