Dang, that is a scary statement......particularly for breast cancer patients. However, it also has me wondering if other 'slow growing, low grade cancers' (i.e. colorectal cancer) could also fit in this category??

I am so sorry for Olivia Newton John, I had no idea. And yes, the above statement is a very scary statement. Does make you wonder about colorectal cancer. Butt maybe "estrogen receptor-positive tumors" is the reason why. Scary,

This post makes me so happy weisssoccermom! I too was diagnosed on June 22, 2007 a year after your diagnosis .I recall a sense of comfort reading your posts when I first joined this amazing forum,it gave me the hope I needed at that time. Thank you so much!
This journey has been filled with many highs and lows but it made my children (now grown adults) aware of the importance of preventative testing and awareness.
My 25 yo daughter had her first colonoscopy yesterday after experiencing some concerning symptoms. I am happy to report she had a clean scope, most likely irritable bowel. Sending you positive thoughts, love and much appreciation!

I am assuming you are from NH....we lived there for a few years....first in Milford, then Londonderry for a few years. I worked in Boston at the time and never minded the commute. Dang, not sure I could or would do that again now that I am a whole lot older and wiser, lol!!
