Thanks for this Maia

I am always keeping an eye open for promising and relevant sounding trials

I am fairly sure my husband has the G12 K Ras mutation, but how would we go about finding out about the HLA-A 1101 positive part?
Wife and caregiver to husband diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer Nov 2016
Emergency surgery to remove blockage in cecum 12/03/2016
Stage 4 colon cancer. Mets to liver, peritoneum, possibly lungs

The HLA-A1101 is a tissue matching test you can order from any hospital, but for those interested in the trial, they probably will run it at the NIH, as part of the screening.

This is the NIH page for it https://clinicalstudies.info.nih.gov/cg ... -0113.html

By the way: this trial is closely related to the TIL trial our Celine underwent, and had success with :)

Yes indeed, which is why I am interested :)

Thank you again Maia, you are fantastic

Hi Maia,
I see that this Trial is for Kras G12V
Have been reading, trying to learn about the diffent Kras since DH is G13D. He is 'NED for now' but I want to be informed..
Maybe this is not as Interesting as the Trial you posted but it sounds as any Kras mutant is ok here https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03101839
DH @ 65 DX 4/11/16 CC recto-sigmoid junction
Adenocarcenoma 35x15x9mm G3(biopsi) G1(surgical)

That IS a very interesting trial, aimed to the KRAS mutation, LPL :)

In a similar line, with a similar agent, there is
Study of Irinotecan and AZD1775, a Selective Wee 1 Inhibitor, in RAS (KRAS or NRAS) or BRAF Mutated, Second-line Metastatic Colorectal Cancer

https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02906059

and other maybe even better, that combines that agent against RAS (KRAS or NRAS) or BRAF with an immunotherapy --
Safety, Tolerability and Pharmacokinetics of AZD1775 Plus MEDI4736 --durvalumab, an anti PD-L1- in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumours
https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02617277

This way, one could be targeting the mutation and maybe activating the immune system against the cancer : )
