O/T further adventures of BrownBagger

Postby CRguy » Fri Jun 09, 2017 1:14 pm

Apparently our intrepid friend is off enjoying the Swedish landscape and making a few wood chips along the way,
WITH what other ... than a piece of heavy duty equipment.
He sends his best and promised to give us an update soon !

Cheers buddy

Love it!
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 6 years NED). Is this real life?

Amazing. BrownBagger is nothing short of amazing.

BrownBagger's got my full respect. I think a number of members of this forum live vicariously through BrownBagger and his multitude of accomplishments. Me, among them.

He deserves a hero's welcome on his return home for accomplishing all that he is on this obviously busy business/work consortium.

Devoted daughter to my father, diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer Nov-2014.
Dear friend to Bella Piazza, former CC member.
I have a permanent ileostomy and offer advice on living with an ostomy.
I have been on Palliative Care for broad endocrine failure + Addison's disease + osteonecrosis of both hips/jaw + immunosuppression and recurrent infection x 4 years. I transitioned to Hospice Sept-2016, but it was not yet my time. I am back on Palliative Care and live a simple life due to frail health.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing!

I pop on this forum every now and then to catch up with certain people and I'm glad to see so many in this particular thread, who were around when I first joined in 2010, are still doing well. This post made my day! :D

Thanks, all. It's been a very busy past couple of months. It started in Pennsylvania (work) then on to Manhattan (medical) then up to Maine (work), then to Wisconsin (work/family), immediately followed by a week on the road to and from Sweden.

The garden is looking great--among the best ever. A nice, rainy spring (from a gardner's perspective) with lots of intermittent sunshine have conspired to bring the plants gently into this world. We expect lots of fresh lettuce, broccoli, potatoes, beans, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, snow peas and God knows what all else we can coax from the soil before the frost sets in next fall. I will do a nice pictoral essay when it hits its peak in late July.
