Anyone with experience with the combination of ramucirumab + folfiri? It seems my mom is getting it next.

I do not know anybody but Cyramza is in official treatment protocol as second line treatment for metastatic CRC.

Your mom is KRAS mutant. Does anybody know the statistics comparing Cyramza administered to KRAS mutant patients versus KRAS wild?

mom of now 14 years old twins, dx @ 40 in 6/2015 with upper rectal cancer, 10+ liver mets, CEA 140
chemo: 8/2015 - 10/2016 - 4xFOLFIRINOX, 2xFOLFOX, 8xFOLFIRI, 10x5FU, HAI pump -12xFUDR
4 surgeries, complete pathological response
CEA<2 since 10/2015
NED since May 2016

Hi Meatie,
Our onc has mentioned ramucirumab (Cyramza). I am planned to discuss more with him in the next days.
My mom unfortunately progressed on Folfox + Avastin, so they are not able to do cyber knife at this stage. She only had 1 treatment of FOLFIRI + Avastin and second is tomorrow. We -rescan in July after 4 treatments and then decision will be made if anything needs to change or new things added. She is KRAS mutant.
Are they adding Ramucirumab to your mom's existing treatment and replacing Avastin with it? I am not too keen to drop Avastin, but not sure how it works.
