Hello everyone. Just want to report that my husband received good scan results from his oncologist yesterday on what was (according to Twitter) National Young Colon Cancer Survivor Day (#Never2Young). He has now been cancer free for nearly 2.5 years. Scans were taken last week and I forced myself to stay away from Colon Talk until he got his results. As it is for many other members, I take each of your stories personally...when you get good news, I celebrate, and when the news is bad, well, my heart aches for you. I felt like soo much was at stake with these scans because life is like "normal" again and we all know the threats this ugly disease proposes and that they are always lurking around the bend. So, for now, we can breath a sigh of relief. I have come to think of it as a "ticket" to life for 6 more months until the next scans are due. My thoughts are with all of you.
