I audibly gasped when I read this. I'm so incredibly sorry for you loss.
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

Hi,
Just utterly devastating.
Our precious children are struggling over here too. Six children in one high school made attempts to take their life. My son encouraged me to watch Thirteen Reasons Why. I don't have answers to how we can ease their pain .
I am so sad for her pain and your,

As a writer, I am seldom at a loss for words, but I clicked reply and then just stared at the empty white space for a long time, What can anyone say that would ease the pain of such a devastating tragedy? All I can say is that I'm so, so sorry for all that you've had to suffer and I hope you know that your "forum family" is always here if you need to talk, rant, ask for prayers, or seek comfort in any way.

As a mother, I can't comprehend the pain you've endured. It breaks my heart just thinking about it.

I'm so sorry.

Oh exaussie
Why must such a sad thing happen to you? Again ..
I wish I could do something to ease your pain.
Thank You for the warning:
"If you see someone withdraw then suddenly seems OK, anything like that please get them to go get help."
That was exactly how they described my daughter's classmate the last days before she took her own life. Someone explained it to me that the change to "suddenly seems OK" is because they have made the decision ..
I am SO Sorry for your loss !

I am so very, very sorry to read of this tragic news. My daughter attempted suicide 3 years ago and still deals with the anxiety and depression that took her to that dark place. I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through, but thank you so much for sharing with all of us while you are hurting in the worst possible way any parent can ever imagine. Hopefully your words here will help someone else so they do not have to endure what you are dealing with. I know since my fathers death in January, my daughter has had a time where she slipped back into her dark place but thankfully we were able to help her through it this time. It never goes away, it is always there. All we can do is try to help as best we can with counseling etc, but as you and I both know, that doesn't always work. My daughter was released from the care of her psychologist shortly before her attempt. She did a very good job at convincing her that she was ok and did not need help anymore. If it was not for my daughters roommates, we would not have been so lucky.
I pray for strength for your family that you can somehow find a way to help each other. Sending hugs to you and your family.
Take care of one another!
