I believe some of these questions, only you Onc can answer.

I will say this, when I was diagnosed, a friend had a niece, she was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer soon after her giving birth to her first child. The theory was that the pregnancy probably accelerate the colon cancer to her liver. She got treatment at MD Anderson and is a survivor today. Five years after her diagnoses, she would become pregnant with her 2nd child. She has 2 healthy kids today.

Hope this helps,

Lee

Thanks, Lee ! The story is very encouraging! My onc said just go for it! I have been googling the answer as well, but no clear answer yet...I probably will wait another 6 months to the next follow up, and make sure everything is fine:)

My wife never checked her CEA during pregnancy, so we don't know if it had any effect on her CEA.
When she was diagnosed, we were told no babies for two years. the two year post chemo scan showed some lungs spots. those spots cleared after 3 months. we waited for 3 year post chemo scan.
I was looking for stories about pregnancy after colon cancer, and found only one colon club member from Sweden, who had two babies after colon cancer.
Thanks Lee for sharing your friend's niece story. Stories like these give and spread hope, and best of luck Bostonzj.
