The Colon Club

Hi everyone!! I know I haven't been on in a really long time, things have been crazy. Was hospitalized with cellulitis all over my abdomen, was pretty worrisome because it was mainly in all of my surgical scars. Did IV antibiotics and a round of oral antibiotics, it cleared up pretty easily. Thankfully I called the doc and got in as soon as it showed up so we got it pretty early. I was so glad we did because I had a trip to Vegas scheduled and I was supposed to leave two days after I was admitted.

Made my trip and it was amazing! Didn't get to see everything I wanted to see so of course I have to go back

Now on to the Larry update:

They did a CT scan while I was in the hospital and Larry continues to shrink. My CEA has gone from 345 at the end of January to 7.3 according to the test on Tuesday.

I now have an appointment with the surgeon on the 16th! Hoping we get the surgery ball rolling so Larry can be served his eviction notice!!!

I am so thankful for Keytruda, it is the only treatment that has made any real progress in my fight against this wretched disease.

ditto. Beans I am so HAPPY for you. You have worked so hard to get to this point. To be seeing a surgeon. AWESOME. Yes we can be little warped around here. How many people are happy about surgery Keep us posted on what say.

Oh congrats BeansMama, you are such a greater fighter, and now Larry is getting his butt kicked.

Well done, that is good news, sometimes hard work does pay out...

Fingers and toes crossed that a curative surgery will be on the cards.

I hope Larry's eviction notice us served smoothly and everything goes well. I'm excited but scared because this is major major surgery.
