Hi All,
Cyramza has been approved in 2015 for mCRC patients failing the first line of treatment (FOLFOX + Avastin). In combination with FOLFIRI. In people KRAS mutant.
We are not taking this route yet, just preparing for Plan B in case something comes up in the scans tomorrow. One must always be prepared and our onc mentioned this possibility in case things do not go as planned.
What I understand is that it is not a breakthrough drug, but some slight enhancement of Avastin. Like a new updated version of Avastin from a different supplier?
I have seen many people still staying on Avastin and side effects are worse on Cyramza than Avastin.
Any views?
