Condolences to Pete's family, thanks to Mel and Keith for keeping us posted through this extremely difficult time.

I'd like to thank Pete and honor his memory for all the effort to take us along to see what's on the other side of the hill. Pete's CRC coverage of his second Walkabout was unique in my seven years of experience.
watchful, active researcher and caregiver for stage IVb/c CC. surgeries 4/10 sigmoid etc & 5/11 para-aortic LN cluster; 8 yrs immuno-Chemo for mCRC; now no chemo

Yes, it is so sad. I found his crazy blog when I was first diagnosed and have read it fairly regularly ever since. I even went back to the beginning and read from the first post. It is often hard to understand, but the passion to survive bleeds through the jumbled thoughts. His was the only blog I found back then where the poster was still alive. He fought hard and did not let go easily even right up to the end hoping to get back to Germany for more treatments. I'm sure his fight to survive will shape his kids' lives ever after. Rest In Peace, Pete.
