The Colon Club

Finished chemo in March...now doing my follow up.

Had bloodwork and CT today- Happy Easter!

Had chest, pelvic, and abdominal CT, with barium and rectal contrast. It was a bit strange but I no longer get embarrassed by medical procedures. I had colon cancer so I was surprised by the rectal contrast...but the nurse said it's standard at their facility.

Tomorrow I see my onc and have my genetic counseling.

I am so hoping for NED. My horrid prognosticators give me a bleak future.

Yep, medical procedures can sure strip one of their dignity Then we realize how unimportant it becomes in the overall scheme of things.

How did the scan go?

I spend a good deal of time at MDAnderson. Funny to think I way have seen some of you there.

Scan was clean and bloodwork normal.

I feel relief, but so guarded. One day at a time.

Thanks everyone for good thoughts. I'd be so alone without this board.
